I'm loving | April

Chef Kat hiking in Colorado

Any chance I can take a jumping photo I will. Especially when I’m just going to be standing there – I mean, you have to make it interesting some how.

April sometimes feels like a whirlwind of a month and I know May will be busy too. Starting off with my birthday, several catering events, soccer games on repeat and other kids activities and of course our house hunt, continues.

At times, my cup is overflowing. I can’t take on anything else. At other time’s I dismiss my to do list and sit on the couch to take deep breaths.

Ways to bring Spring into your home.

  • Plant lettuce in a pot
  • Light a floral candle
  • Buy clean white crisp sheets or a new pillow case
  • Get rid of clutter
  • Move furniture around.
  • Buy grocery store flowers that are on sale
  • Change up your throw pillows
  • Put a Spring wreath on your front door
  • Paint something white
  • Buy a new house (real or faux) plant

If you can’t do any of the above, just open you windows a crack to feel the breeze and hear the birds.

Gut Health. Yes, I said it.

My stomach has been hurting a lot. Stress I know contributes but I also know other things effect it. Here are mineral supplements I have been taking.

What I made 1 year ago.

May is around the corner and I’m soaking in all the moments of this changing season – that I love. It also brings a rush of life events, like the end of the school year for my kids and ‘what are we doing this summer’ questions?!?!

Let’s just hold on to Spring a little bit longer!
