Featured Image of Colorado Aspen Leaves Changing

For the past 3 months, I have really dialed in taking time for me. What I have found is that it takes baby steps. Nothing was built overnight.

Whether its a walk in the woods, reading a few chapters in a book, taking a long hot bath, steaming my face and putting expensive serum on or just sitting in my car along in quiet. It doesn’t have to be expensive or take tons of time (which I don’t have).

I have also found my mind shifting – instead of thinking of all the things that I have to do that day; be grateful that I get to do just a few of them. Be happy with a long hike and not rush it because I have 3746 things to do.

Calming my mind.

I am feeling better mentally. More of a clear mind. Less fog. Clarity, purpose and motivation.

Doing things that make me feel good and doing those things for me. We spend so much time pleasing people or doing things for others, that it’s time to take a few moments to embrace ourselves.

It doesn’t have to be something big or huge – really the little and simple things make all the difference.

My Sur La Table cart...need to just hit buy!

I love small saucepans like this and this flat whisk is genius – would be great for sauces.

Soup season is here – so I must have these. And maybe….Do I really need this pumpkin pot?

With the amount of baked goods I’ve been making this would be helpful.

We are updating all of our cookware. I love Staub so of course my cart has this and this in it.

My favorite Fall to Winter boots!

The classic LL Bean boot – I’m from Maine so I always had a pair of these.

I own several Sorel boots – and I love how you can dress them up and down. They aren’t chunky either.

This Laguna Chelsea Boot is for all seasons.

For the real snow, I love these. Plus these for trails.

My favorite desserts!

Beauty products I use!

It’s no secret that I love Beauty Counter – I use their mascara, serums, tinted moisturizers, brown pencil…and sunscreen and lip gloss. Just love their products.

I love Dime Beauty and their ILYSB perfume – it’s made with only clean ingredients.

I can’t stop using my Aira Ionic Facial Steamer, this amazing resurfacing mask and then finished with this firm serum.

This is a great article about the top 10 organic face masks.

Gifts for the holiday season

I’m working on a few gift guides…but here is a quick teaser of things I’m eyeing for my kids + husband. Plus, a little something for myself!

If a cooler can be sexy, well this one is! When we have a house with some land – I know my girls would love to have this and this.

I love all of these bras…but I don’t have this one, yet.

What kind of gift guides would you like to see? Kitchen? Home? or gifts for kids?
